Editing Days

In most cases you may simply clock in, clock out, or change task in real time using the Main Form and will not need to edit days. However, should you wish to correct historical data, enter time for days in the future, or add supporting information, tap on a day in the Main Form to open the Edit Day form.

Edit Day

This form is opened by tapping a day on the Main Form. Note that days after today may only be edited if 'Edit Days in Future' is checked under General Options.

Each row represents a period of time spent performing a particular task on the day indicated in the title bar. Click on a line to edit the task or times using the Edit Session form.

A period spent clocked out in the middle of a day is shown as a horizontal line and cannot be edited directly (edit the tasks on either side instead).

When no clockings have been made for a day, but some standard time has been defined under Week Options, a 'Standard Day...' button will appear in the centre of the form. Pressing this button will prompt for a task and then book the standard number of hours against this task, beginning at the standard start time specified in Week Options, and including any non-working time.

Edit Session

This form is opened by tapping a row in the Edit Day form or NWT Options form, and is used to manipulate a session of work. When used to edit the current session, it is not possible to change the end time.

  • Start - Set the start time of the session using the time selector boxes or graffiti
  • End - Set the end time of the session using the time selector boxes or graffiti
  • Task - Set the task associated with the session
  • Del - Delete the current session
  • Split - Split the current session into two identical sessions and return to the day form
  • OK - Save all changes and return to the calling form
  • Cancel - Abandon all changes and return to the calling form

Edit Note

This form is opened by tapping the 'Note...' button on the Edit Day form or a note icon on the Main Form and is used to display or edit the note associated with the date in the title bar. To remove a note delete simply all text.

  • OK - Save all changes and return to the calling form
  • Cancel - Abandon all changes and return to the calling form
