Main Form

The main form is based around a display of the current week, with date, first time clocked in, last time clocked out, and a user selectable summary such as total time worked.

The week currently being viewed and the current time are shown at the top of the screen. Tap on the 'Today' button to return to the current date, or the left and right arrows on either side to move backwards or forwards one week at a time.

Tapping on a day opens the Edit Day form, which may be used to edit the clockings made on that day, including changing the tasks or times, or adding new periods of work. Note that days after today may only be edited in this fashion if "Edit days in future" is checked under General Options.

The Edit Day form may also be used to attach a note to a day, these notes are shown as a small icon to the right of the day on the main screen and may be edited by clicking on this icon.

Click in the right of the table header or footer to cycle through the summary columns listed below, or set a default under General Options.

On a colour display, today is shown in yellow, days where clockings have been made show in blue, days where no work is expected (based on the Week Options) show in green, and days where work was expected but no clockings were made are shown in pink.

The current clocked status, IN or OUT, is shown and may be altered using the pushbuttons at the bottom of the main form, and the task currently being worked is shown and may be changed in the popup box above this. These two controls are all that are required to record time using Timesheet.

Pressing a Sony jog dial or 'select' on a Palm 5-Way navigator toggles between clocked in and clocked out. Scrolling then pressing a Sony jog dial or pressing 'up'/'down' then 'select' on a Palm 5-Way navigator is an easy way to change the current task.
